Recycling workshop

Image
We welcomed Ella from the recycling centre in Newport who came to talk to us all about recycling. She showed us some really interesting videos of the recycling centre in Newport explaining how our rubbish gets sorted. We then learnt about what we can and can’t recycle. We especially learnt about why batteries are so dangerous and must be not be included in our bin waste. When we went back to the classroom we designed and made our own magnets to help us remember to recycle and create our own pledge to help the environment.
