French: to mime a story
Year 3 watched a different version of Jack and the beanstalk in French. They learn to say some key phrases from the story. The children then practised miming the story.

French: Growing things: Ca pousse
Year 3 started their new topic all about growing things. They listened to a song and learnt new vocabulary, focusing on plurals. The children also practised giving their opinions about different vegetables.
International day
Ash class had a great time learning about Scotland for International day. We painted pictures of the Scottish national symbol which is the thistle and then created our own clans, including creating our own tartan, symbol and motto.
