This week we were really lucky to welcome author PG Bell into school as part of the Isle of Wight Literary festival. He came to talk to us about his new book Big Bad Wolf murder in which the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood is murdered in a football stadium! He told us all about where he gets all his inspiration from and helped us to think of our own ideas for a fairytale murder mystery!

We welcomed in Chelsea and Harriet for the Mental Health Support Team today and they talked to us about wellbeing. We talked about different emotions and which ones feel nice and which ones feel horrible. We then talked about things we can do to make ourselves feel better such as connect with people, get active or learn something new.

Year 3 enjoyed Re day this week. We thought about the idea of messages firstly thinking about what messages are and how they can be delivered. We then thought about the messages that Jesus gave through his stories, we looked at the story of the lost sheep and the Good Samaritan and thought about how his messages are still relevant today. Finally we thought about what messages we would like to give to the world and designed posters to share our message.
