French: writing a birthday invitation
We sang Happy birthday 🥳. Then we spun a wheel to practice saying different birthdays. Then we said out birthdays to each other. We designed a birthday party invitation.

To finish off our art topic we created our own collages based on something that is special to us. There were some fantastic results!
Music
In music this half term we have been looking at the story of Hand as surprise. To finish off we had a go at working in groups to compose our own piece of music to tell the story of Handa’s surprise.

In English this week we have been looking at writing our own versions of the story of the Secret of Black Rock. We started planning by cutting out and sequencing the events in the story so that we know what happens and can plan our own version.
