Continuing with our focus for this half-term, in the last few weeks Year 3 have concentrated on athletics both indoors and outdoors. The students have been participating in a wide range of athletic activities, developing their skills in throwing, jumping, and running. In history this half term we are learning about the Stone Age. We have learnt that the Stone Age is split into three parts: the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic. We played a fantastic game of charades to learn about what Stone Age people did, before drawing our own picture of what the Stone Age was like. Finally we thought about whether we would like have lived in the Stone Age or not and gave reasons why or why not. A lot of children thought that they couldn’t live without the technology!
